Trump Orders Investigation Into 2024 Election After Accidentally Suggesting the One He Won Was Rigged
White House Panic as President Demands Officials “Find Out Who Stole My Victory From Me” Before Being Reminded He Actually Won
By Quentin Thrustbucket, Chief Electoral Confusion Correspondent
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Donald Trump has reportedly created the greatest electoral headache in American history after becoming so enthusiastic while talking about “rigged elections” that he inadvertently began questioning the 2024 presidential election — the one that put him back in the White House.
Trump has continued publicly alleging problems with American elections, including saying in a January interview that there was “a lot of cheating” in 2024, while also insisting that his victory was “too big to rig.” There is no evidence that fraud altered the result of the 2024 presidential election.
But according to The Daily Scrotum’s satirical reconstruction, things went badly wrong during a White House meeting when Trump became particularly animated.
“Rigged elections are terrible. Everybody knows it.”
An aide nodded.
“Yes, Mr President.”
“2020. Rigged.”
The aide stared at his notes.
Trump continued.
“2024. We need to look at that one too.”
The room suddenly became extremely quiet.
One official cautiously raised his hand.
“Sir…”
“What?”
“You won 2024.”
Trump stopped.
There was a long silence.
“Exactly.”
Another silence.
“Which makes it extremely suspicious.”
INVESTIGATION ORDERED IMMEDIATELY
Within minutes, Trump reportedly ordered the creation of the:
PRESIDENTIAL COMMISSION TO FIND OUT HOW DONALD TRUMP WON
Officials were instructed to examine voting machines, ballot papers, postal votes, counting centres and “anything else that looks electiony.”
Trump issued clear instructions:
“I want investigators to find whoever was responsible for putting me in the White House.”
An adviser whispered:
“The voters, sir.”
Trump looked suspicious.
“All of them?”
“Approximately 77 million of them.”
Trump reportedly leaned back.
“This thing goes deeper than I thought.”
FIRST RESULTS ARE DISTURBING
Investigators began in Pennsylvania.
Then Michigan.
Then Wisconsin.
Then Georgia.
After several days, they returned to Washington carrying boxes of documents.
Trump eagerly asked:
“What did you find?”
The lead investigator looked uncomfortable.
“Sir, we’ve discovered millions of ballots with your name selected.”
Trump stared at him.
“Millions?”
“Yes.”
“That’s unbelievable.”
“That’s generally how elections are won, sir.”
Trump demanded further investigation.
THE RECOUNT PROBLEM
The White House then supposedly ordered recounts in states Trump had won.
This caused enormous confusion among Republican officials.
One telephoned Washington.
“Just to confirm — you want us to recount Trump’s votes?”
“Correct.”
“Because you think Trump might not have won?”
“Correct.”
“But President Trump requested this?”
“Correct.”
There was a pause.
“Can I speak to somebody else?”
Unfortunately, everybody else was hiding.
TRUMP DEMANDS THE TRUTH
After the first fictional recount, officials arrived with devastating news.
“Mr President, we’ve counted the ballots again.”
Trump leaned forward.
“And?”
“You still won.”
Trump slammed his hand on the desk.
“Recount them again.”
They did.
Trump won again.
“Again!”
Third recount.
Trump won.
Fourth recount.
Still Trump.
By the fifth recount, election workers began charging overtime.
One exhausted official reportedly begged:
“Mr President, how many times do we have to prove you won?”
Trump replied:
“Until we find out why.”
THE TERRIFYING POSSIBILITY
Then came the breakthrough.
One junior investigator entered the Oval Office carrying a single sheet of paper.
“Sir, I think we’ve worked it out.”
Everybody gathered around.
Trump asked:
“What happened?”
The investigator swallowed.
“People voted for you.”
Trump stared at him.
“Voluntarily?”
“Yes, sir.”
“No machines?”
“No.”
“No secret ballots appearing at three in the morning?”
“No.”
“No mysterious satellites?”
“No.”
Trump looked genuinely astonished.
“So you’re saying…”
The investigator nodded.
“You actually won.”
Trump immediately rejected the findings as politically motivated.
WHITE HOUSE PREPARES FOR WORST-CASE SCENARIO
The investigation nevertheless continued, and in our fictional universe the numbers suddenly began moving in unexpected directions.
One recount removed 12 Trump votes.
Another found seven ballots behind a photocopier.
A third discovered that one election worker had accidentally counted his lunch receipt.
Trump became increasingly concerned.
“What happens if these people investigate so much that I lose?”
An aide replied:
“That’s actually what we’ve been trying to explain since Monday.”
Trump immediately ordered the investigation stopped.
Unfortunately, another aide reminded him that he had already publicly demanded:
“EVERY VOTE MUST BE INVESTIGATED!”
Trump thought for several seconds.
“Did I specify whose votes?”
Nobody answered.
WASHINGTON’S NEWEST CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS
Democrats were reportedly watching developments with popcorn.
Republicans were begging Trump to stop recounting states he’d won.
Election officials were wondering whether they could simply unplug their telephones.
And White House lawyers were attempting to answer a question never previously encountered in constitutional law:
Can a president overturn his own victory because he thinks the election that elected him was rigged?
After six hours of research, the lawyers produced their official opinion:
“Please don’t.”
TRUMP FINALLY SOLVES THE PROBLEM
Eventually, Trump called another emergency press conference.
He walked to the podium.
“My investigation has discovered something incredible.”
Reporters waited.
“The 2024 election was absolutely secure.”
Gasps around the room.
Trump continued:
“Possibly the most secure election in history.”
A journalist shouted:
“Why?”
Trump smiled.
“Because I won it.”
Another reporter asked:
“But yesterday you said it might have been rigged.”
Trump shook his head.
“You’re talking about a different 2024.”
Nobody dared ask what that meant.
At the time of publication, the Presidential Commission to Find Out How Donald Trump Won had officially closed.
Its 4,700-page final report contained just one conclusion:
TRUMP WON THE 2024 ELECTION.
Underneath, somebody had added in handwriting:
PLEASE DO NOT TELL HIM WE CHECKED.
The Daily Scrotum Disclaimer: This is political satire. Trump has made real claims alleging cheating in the 2024 election while simultaneously saying his victory was too large to rig, but there is no evidence that fraud changed the outcome. The investigation, recounts, dialogue, commission and suggestion that Trump discovered he did not win are fictional comic inventions.
