The Great Dakota Deal

China’s Bold Move to Buy the Dakotas

It started as a whisper in international business circles, a rumour dismissed as too outrageous to be true. But on a cold morning in February, the world woke up to a shocking announcement:

China had officially expressed interest in purchasing North and South Dakota.

The Chinese government, looking for a way to bypass Trump’s crippling tariffs, saw the Dakotas as the perfect opportunity to establish a U.S.-based industrial stronghold. By relocating its manufacturing plants directly onto American soil, China could export goods without restrictions, create a massive workforce migration, and—perhaps most importantly—change the geopolitical landscape forever.

Why the Dakotas?

At first glance, the idea seemed bizarre. Why the Dakotas of all places?

But China has done its homework.

  1. Strategic Location – The Dakotas provide central access to the U.S. market, making transportation of goods more efficient.
  2. Sparse Population – With fewer than 2 million residents combined, the Dakotas has plenty of room for millions of incoming Chinese workers.
  3. Resource-Rich – With vast farmland, energy production, and open land for infrastructure, the Dakotas are perfect for industrial expansion.
  4. Low Political Resistance – Compared to more populated states, the Dakotas has fewer political obstacles to massive foreign investment and takeover.

In short, the Dakotas are the perfect test case for China’s long-term vision of global expansion.

The Offer: $10 Trillion for the Dakotas

China’s official proposal was jaw-dropping:

  • A direct payment of $10 trillion to the U.S. government in exchange for full economic and administrative control over the Dakotas.
  • A long-term commitment to invest an additional $3 trillion in infrastructure, housing, and industry.
  • An open immigration policy, allowing millions of Chinese citizens to relocate and establish new lives in “New China.”

For a cash-strapped, struggling America under Trump, the offer tempts even the most skeptical politicians.

“This is a tremendous deal, folks. Maybe the best deal anyone’s ever seen,” Trump said in a late-night press conference. “We’re talking BIG money. They want to invest. They want to build. Maybe we call it Trump Dakota? Just saying.

The Transformation: A New China in the U.S.

The agreement  can move forward quickly, with China wasting no time reshaping its new territory.

  1. Massive Factories & Tech Hubs – Within months, major Chinese corporations, including Huawei, BYD, and Tencent, can brake ground on state-of-the-art manufacturing plants.
  2. A Population Boom – Over 5 million Chinese workers and families will be granted visas, outnumbering the original residents 5 to 1.
  3. Language & Cultural Shift – Schools to implement mandatory Mandarin classes, and public signs transitioning to Chinese-language first.
  4. City Name Changes – Several major cities to rebrand to reflect China’s influence:
    • Sioux Falls → Xīyáng Chéng (Western Sun City)
    • Bismarck → Bǎimǎ Kè (White Horse Capital)
    • Rapid City → Kuài Chéng (Fast City)

Americans who wished to remain will be told they must learn Mandarin and integrate into Chinese society, or they could relocate elsewhere in the U.S. with a one-time government stipend of $10,000.

The Backlash & Trump’s Response

While Wall Street will celebrate the economic boom, backlash from the rest of the country is immediate.

  • Protests erupt nationwide, with chants of “America is NOT for sale!”
  • Congress is divided, with some calling the deal treasonous while others praised the “financial windfall.”
  • The Pentagon quietly expressed concerns about the national security risks of having China operate within U.S. borders.

As the controversy grows, Trump doubled down.

“Listen, folks, it’s a great deal. Maybe one of the best. China’s paying BIG. No tariffs. No wars. Just HUGE profits. And let’s be honest, does anyone even know where the Dakotas are? I mean, come on.”

At a rally in Texas, he dismissed concerns:

“Look, if you wanna stay in the Dakotas, learn a little Mandarin, okay? Not a big deal! We love the Chinese people. We love the deals. And believe me, if we don’t sell them the Dakotas, Sleepy Joe when he takes over again soon will probably sell them California!”

A New Superpower Emerges

Despite the outrage, the deal will move forward. Within a year, the region will be fully integrated into China’s economic empire.

  • The Dakotas will become the wealthiest region in America, with world-class infrastructure, bullet trains, and AI-driven smart cities.
  • China’s influence in North America will  skyrocket, forcing Mexico and Canada to adjust their economic strategies.
  • Trump, always claiming credit, declared:
“It is MY deal. MY decision. And now we have the greatest Chinese economy in America. Maybe the greatest ever. People say so.”

For China, the deal is a massive success. They have effectively taken over part of the U.S. without firing a single shot.

For Americans, it was the moment they realised that under Trump, everything truly had a price—including their own states.

And as the former North and South Dakotans will settle into their new reality—whether it was learning Mandarin, moving to a different state, or working for a Chinese mega-factory—one thing became clear:

America would never be the same again.
