CARDIFF, WALES — Thousands of residents across Cardiff woke yesterday to discover that something rather unusual was flowing from their kitchen taps.

It was a perfectly chilled 5% Welsh beer.

The incident occurred after engineers at Welsh Water reportedly connected a newly installed pipeline to a local brewing company instead of the city’s main reservoir.

The mistake wasn’t discovered for nearly 18 hours.

Mainly because nobody complained.

Buyers from England quickly began crossing the border in search of second homes.

“Normally I’d buy a cottage with sea views.”

“But unlimited beer from the kitchen sink?”
