Britain welcomed yet another Prime Minister to Number 10 this week.
Andy Burnham proudly walked through the famous black door, smiling confidently and promising a “new era.”
Standing outside waiting for him…
…was Larry the Cat.
Larry yawned.
Not because he was tired.
Because he’d seen it all before.
After greeting his seventh Prime Minister in just over ten years, Larry reportedly sighed and muttered,
“Another one? I haven’t even finished memorising the last one’s name.”
Government staff claim Larry now knows the layout of Downing Street better than anyone.
In fact, several Cabinet Ministers have reportedly been asking him for directions.
One newly appointed minister allegedly asked,
“Excuse me, Larry, where’s the Cabinet Room?”
Larry simply looked at him before walking away.
The minister followed.
He arrived exactly where he needed to be.
Political analysts are now convinced Larry is secretly running the country.
One senior civil servant whispered,
“Prime Ministers come and go…”
“…Larry approves the furniture.”
Tourists gathered outside Number 10 hoping to catch a glimpse of the new Prime Minister.
Instead, hundreds ignored him completely.
They were all shouting,
“Larry! Over here!”
The Prime Minister reportedly stood patiently in the background waiting for the photographers to finish taking pictures of the cat.
Opinion polls released the following morning produced astonishing results.
Larry the Cat – 82% approval
The new Prime Minister – Still introducing himself
Even the Opposition admitted defeat.
“We’re not trying to beat the Government anymore.”
“We’re trying to beat the cat.”
Larry’s Manifesto
Rumours suggest Larry is preparing to stand at the next General Election.
His promises include:
Mandatory afternoon naps.
Free tuna every Friday.
Laser pointers in every public park.
No meetings before 10 a.m.
Anyone caught saying, “Who’s a good kitty?” receives an immediate Cabinet position.
During his first audience with Larry, the new Prime Minister politely asked,
“Do you have any advice?”
Larry slowly looked up…
Stared him directly in the eyes…
Then walked into Number 10 without saying a word.
Political experts immediately described it as…
“The clearest leadership strategy Britain has seen in years.”
As another Prime Minister begins his time in office, one thing remains absolutely certain.
Governments change.
Policies change.
Cabinets change.
But Larry?
Larry simply watches them all arrive…
…and quietly wonders which one will be asking him for directions next. 🐈🇬🇧😂
